The Key Member Program was started in 2005 as a reward
program for Scottish Rite Masons of the Kansas City Valley who
actively participate in the day-to-day activities of the
Valley. The program is not designed as a competition
between Brethren. It is simply a way for a Brother to be
thanked for his service while giving the individual a way to compete with himself on behalf of the Valley. 'Links'
are awarded according to three areas, with Gold and Silver
keys being awarded to Brethren who achieve the appropriate
number of links as explained below:
Area A:
- Be a first line signer on
a new petition and accompany the candidate through his
reunion: 75 links. No points for petition only!
-
Attendance as a rental volunteer: 20 links each event
-
Attendance as a Temple Work Day volunteer: 20 links per
event
Area B:
- Serve as a Reunion Mentor
without signing the petition: 50 links per reunion.
